How to choose

  • Mesh or wire — Mesh nets are fabric and fold flat when they are not in use. Wire barriers are a rigid frame, fitted rather than folded away.
  • Mounting — Headrest straps, pressure-fit poles, or fixings in the cargo area. Check which your car allows before ordering.
  • Measure the opening — Width and height of the gap you want to close, against the range the listing gives.
  • Body style — A barrier cut for an SUV or wagon is not the same as one for a sedan. Listings name the vehicles they were made for.
